Description

The C.O.R.E. Leadership Conference—Cultivating Officers toward Readiness and Excellence—is an inaugural national forum hosted by the Duke University Naval ROTC Battalion. Centered on the theme "Junior Officers in INDOPACOM: Remembering the Past, Understanding the Present, Navigating the Future," the event celebrates the Navy and Marine Corps’ 250th birthday by examining the evolving role of junior officers across history, present-day challenges in the Indo-Pacific region, and future leadership demands in an increasingly contested maritime environment. Designed to bring together motivated midshipmen, MECEPS, and OCs from the United States Naval Academy and NROTC units nationwide, the conference offers a unique opportunity for professional development, strategic insight, and meaningful connection with senior military leaders shaping U.S. policy in the region.
